How PASSION Will Fuel Your Business

Have you guys ever heard of Oprah Winfrey? You might have, she’s a pretty well known personality, after all.

Oprah is someone that I personally admire; her story and passion are things that I believe all of us should look up to. Her major success to this day, between her talk show, her network and her compassion, is all due to the fact that she believed in something and went out and took it.

Let me tell you a bit of her back-story so you can understand.

Before she owned the television networks with her winning personality, Oprah was a young girl living in a small farming community in Mississippi. She didn’t have the best

childhood, and I won’t go into detail, but let’s say she had every reason to be angry at the world.

But anger isn’t what fueled her.

Instead, Oprah went out and became one of the most well known television personalities and entrepreneurs out there. She knew that she was meant for great things, and she used that desire to make a difference in the world to leave her mark.

Now, this young girl with a hard childhood owns her own television network and is known as one of the most influential women of her generation.

Passion Makes Success

So how does this apply to you as a fitness entrepreneur?

Because you need to reach deep inside yourself and find that same burning passion that Oprah has and still has to make a difference and become better. You could have all the best tools in the world, but if you don’t have a passion and a drive to create something from yourself, then you’re going to fail.

Find your reason why. I know what mine is; it’s to have financial freedom for my family and myself. Like Oprah I didn’t have an easy childhood, but my desire to give my family a better way of life than I experienced is what allows me to keep succeeding.

And here’s the thing: if your driving passion is to make money then you’re not going to succeed. Money alone is not good enough. WHY do you want to make money?

Do you have a desire to build a fitness franchise that you can spread across the country so you can help the maximum number of people lead healthier lives?

Do you want to give that special someone in your life the biggest, most beautiful wedding they ever dreamed of?

Do you dream of building houses in other countries for children who don’t have what you do?

Find that burning passion inside of you and utilize it.

Passion is Specific

Now, you can’t allow your goal to be broad or general, it needs to be specific. If you’re reaching for something too broad you’re going to end up grasping at thin air. You need to lock down your goals and figure out the specifics of it so that you can find your straightestDevelopment and growth line to success.

I know a lot of you dream of building a seven-figure business. I say go for it – you totally can! But just saying you want to make seven figures isn’t really a goal.

Do you know what it takes to make seven figures? If you don’t you need to figure it out. How many dollars a month is that? A week? A day? Do the math and determine exactly how many clients you need to sign on every day for you to reach that goal.

A lot of people visualize success as doing one big thing right and then being rich or famous or happy forever. But the reality is that any kind of “overnight success” is really based on carefully planned systems. And these systems often take years to build.

Yet, when you plan specifically to hit incremental goals and ALWAYS BE GROWING, you end up with something more important than money. You end up with wealth. You end up with a business that will give you freedom and abundance for the rest of your life.

Once you’ve got the numbers you can set a goal for yourself. Now you know how many consultations you need to be doing to truly succeed at what you want to do. And don’t let your goals stop there. Have specific goals in everything you do in your life. When you set things out for yourself and show yourself what it will take to achieve it, everything seems a lot more attainable.

Passion Accepts No Alibi

Napoleon Hill once said that people who don’t succeed have one trait in common. They know the reasons for their failures, but they always have an alibi to explain why they haven’t achieved what they set out to do.

“If I had enough pull…”

“If I only had time…”

“If I could live my life over again…”

Do you see the common theme here?

What-If-AnalysisIF. Why are you so worried about the “ifs” of life? Who cares what would have happened IF you hadn’t made the decisions you did. It’s too late. Why are you letting these choices dictate your current success?

You need to let go of those “ifs” and figure out how you’re going to deal with the NOW. If you had spent more time figuring out your weaknesses and how to compensate for them then you wouldn’t need alibis to cover them up. SO MAKE THAT CHANGE NOW. Identify what is holding you back and figure out what you can do to push through it.

It’s like I’ve said in the past, operate within your 5%, and delegate others to handle the rest. When you allow yourself to only focus on your strengths you’re going to succeed.

What is Your Passion?

So, instead of making up excuses about how you don’t have the right tools or the right circumstances, get out there and DOMINATE.

The second you start focusing on what you’re passionate about with a laser focus, no one can possibly get in your way. Your burning desire to achieve your goals will fuel those around you and make them believe in your mission almost as much as you. I say almost because no one will ever believe in your mission as much as you do, and that’s fine. You’ve got to have the most fire to build your business and succeed, and passion is the fuel for that fire.

What is your passion?

What fuels you?
